I had a VI Advanced Peel on my Face, Neck & Chest with Dermaplaning added on the face for a deeper penetration from the peel. It was the best peel ever. Stacey Edgar did the procedure with ease, confidence and answered all questions. It was a positive process. The office is professional with the best staff. Recently my 81 year old friend and I drove three hours to experience our second VI Precision Plus Peel with Dermaplaning at the practice of Janet P. Woodyard, Plastic Surgery. Our procedures were performed by Master Aesthetician, Stacey Edgar. We were not disappointed. As a matter of fact, this procedure is something that gets better each time you encounter it. Why? It’s like excavating a field for a new crop. The first time you turn over the earth and pull out the rocks and weeds, it’s quite disruptive and mucky. But by the second time you expose the field, the earth seems more purified and the results are stunning. My first peel was June 2020 during the pandemic when I just needed some self-care. Within four months, I had my yearly dermatologist check. When the doctor checked my face, she commented “beautiful” “what did you do to your skin?” I told her I had a VI Precision Plus Peel and she said “well that worked very well for you”. Her unsolicited comment made me a true believer. My second procedure (March 2021) was more straightforward. I now appreciated what I had to do to take care of my face and neck immediately post peel. I had hyperpigmentation, red blotches, dry patches, and fine lines. When I look into the mirror today, that’s all gone. My face appears translucent and uniform. I am so pleased with the work of Stacey Edgar. It was so true for my friend also. Not only did Stacey explain each and every detail along the way but she followed up with phone calls to make sure we were on track with our pharmaceutical grade products and procedures. Coming up on my 36th birthday, I was noticing that my nasolabial folds were becoming more pronounced. Dr. Woodyard discussed different options with me and was very thorough about the options, the risk, and expected outcomes. She spent plenty of time answering my questions, sometimes twice, and I never once felt rushed. She and her staff are always very warm, friendly, and actually welcome questions, which I find refreshing after having dealt with other surgeons. Once I received the Juvaderm, I was instantly thrilled with the results. Aside from a tiny bruise that lasted only 4 days and was easily covered with makeup, my face looked PERFECTLY natural. She even sent me home with Arnica tablets to prevent bruising and gave me a complimentary referral to her medical aesthetician in case I needed help covering any potential bruising. The best part is that nobody could tell that I had anything done. I had a couple of people ask me if I just came back from vacation or if I got some good sleep because I looked "refreshed". She is truly an artist. she will even recommend not doing something if she thinks that it won't look natural and she will give a detailed explanation as to why. As a new mom I felt exhausted and found that had deep circles under my eyes. After consulting with Dr.Woodyard she recommended Radiesse for under my eyes. I could tell right after the injections what a difference it made. I feel refreshed hott momma now :) More
