Bilateral Breast Reduction

This 58-year-old Caucasian female complained of heavy, painful and pendulous breasts. The heaviness of her breasts made her neck, shoulders and upper back hurt and made her career as a Registered Nurse a painful job. Patient care can be made much more difficult with women who suffer with macromastia, especially those with demanding careers. The patient opted for a bilateral breast reduction. Dr. Woodyard removed a total of 2.5 pounds.  She feels very relieved to have less neck and back pain. Cosmetically,  she was  pleased with her more symmetrical appearing breasts post-procedure. Since her breast reduction, this patient has been back to see Dr. Woodyard for follow-up cosmetic surgery and procedures.
