About Jeuveau
A new FDA-approved injectable wrinkle relaxer, Jeuveau, self-branded as NEWTOX, combats the most common signs of aging. Much like BOTOX and Dysport, Jeuveau relaxes overworked muscles to smooth dynamic wrinkles, like the frown lines that develop in the middle of your brows (also known as glabellar lines). Jeuveau is an effective cosmetic injectable that helps patients of Janet P. Woodyard Plastic Surgery to achieve a more radiant, youthful look without surgery. Plastic surgeon Dr. Janet Woodyard is pleased to offer Jeuveau to men and women in Baltimore, MD. In many cases, your first Jeuveau injection can be administered immediately following your consultation with Dr. Woodyard.

Procedure Technique
To better determine where your Jeuveau injections should be placed, Dr. Woodyard or an experienced member of her team will ask you to make different facial expressions. Jeuveau is a quick treatment that should cause little to no discomfort, but your face may be numbed with topical anesthesia if it would make you feel more comfortable. Once your skin is prepped, your Jeuveau injections will be placed carefully and precisely into the predetermined injection sites.
What to Expect
Following your first treatment, your injector will discuss how to best care for your face while the Jeuveau begins to improve your appearance. You may notice minor inflammation and redness near the injection sites, but this will subside naturally as your results become visible. In most cases, it takes around 5 – 7 days until your results can be seen. Dr. Woodyard recommends Jeuveau treatments quarterly to maintain your results.
Jeuveau Frequently Asked Questions
Who is an ideal candidate?
Jeuveau is a wonderful option for men and women who want a smoother look by reducing the appearance of dynamic facial wrinkles. Jeuveau can relax moderate to severe dynamic wrinkles, especially the glabellar lines that develop between your brows. If you also have static lines and wrinkles, your injector may recommend combining Jeuveau with an injectable filler.
How much does Jeuveau cost?
The cost of your Jeuveau treatment will be determined after discussing your aesthetic goals and assessing the amount of product that will be necessary to achieve them. If your treatment plan includes dermal fillers or other nonsurgical procedures, those costs will all be assessed together so you understand your payment options prior to treatment.
How long will my results last?
Jeuveau injections may last up to six months; however, Dr. Woodyard recommends patients return for touch-ups once a quarter to maintain optimal results.
